Over these few months I've learned new things about Jerrell. I learned that he has the rare skill of adapting. His producer/engineer/best friend ,Dylan Evans, was registered into rehab two songs deep into Better Late Than Never. Rell had already voiced clearly his disliking of having to complete the mixtape without Dylan. Rell has put in non-stop hours into this project. After his last effort ,Few & Far Between, and the "Conspiracy Theory" we all felt like our music career and especially Jerrell's was in great jeopardy. I just recently listened to the whole tape and without a doubt a masterpiece. He shows his artistic value and the tape is raw enough for Rick Ross fans but still shows the soulfulness for Al Green. My personal favorites are "Life's a Beach" and "Soldier of Love". This tape is going to be his staple, I'm blessed to be part of this historic point in his music career. Blogging isn't really my thing but I decided to update the status of Better Late Than Never..
